Q: Who is eligible to participate in the Senior Games?
A: Any Delaware County resident 50 years of age or older.

Q: What's the purpose of the Senior Games?
A: The mission of the Senior Games is to engage adults over 50 in two weeks of fun events that promote a healthy, social and active lifestyle.

Q: Who puts on the Delaware County Senior Games?
A: Delaware County Council proudly partners with two county entities to sponsor the Senior Games: the Delaware County Department of Parks and Recreation, and the County Office of Services for the Aging (COSA).
Co-chairs of the 2013 Senior Games are Marc Manfre, Director of Parks and Recreation, and Stephen Gamble, Deputy Director for COSA. The committee for this year’s Senior Games includes: Robert Ballantine, Marie Bonita, Theresa Butts, Beth Chapman, Anne Cicala, Burr Daly, John Durning, Helen McGoohan, , Elaine Lawley, Kelsey Lomas, Kathy Henderson, Joan Morrison, Barb Nicolardi, Sam & Pat Parsons, & Bruce Wyman.

Q: How do I register to participate in the games?
A: Click on the Registration Page to download the registration form. There is a fee of $15 per person (make check payable to County of Delaware) which should be mailed with the registration form to:

Q: Where are the games held?
A: The 2013 Delaware County Senior Games will be held at various venues throughout the county, and will feature competition in basketball, bowling, golf, tennis, table tennis, track and field, swimming, shuffleboard, and Pickleball.

Q: How long have the games been going on?
A: The 2013 Senior Games will mark the 23rd anniversary of the event.

Q: May I choose my teammates?
A: Yes, if you will be participating in a group sport (golf foursome, tennis doubles, basketball, etc.) Please list the names of your teammates on your registration form.

Q: Will I get confirmation of my registration?
A: No confirmation will be sent, so athletes should stop by the sign-in table upon arrival at each event.
